5 Fun Summer Drinks for Kids

Arizona summers are no joke, so I’ve been leaning hard on my favorite drink-making supplies to keep the kids hydrated and happy. Using my cute tumblers, Torani syrups, Real fruit purees, La Croix, and Liquid IV, here are 5 simple, fun drinks the kids can help make.

All of them are quick, refreshing, and perfect for hot days!

1. Sprite Citrus Splash (a PERSONAL Favorite!)

Ingredients (serves 1):

  • 1 can Sprite or lemon-lime soda
  • 1 lemon slice + 1 lime slice
  • Ice
  • Optional: splash of Torani Peach or Real Peach Puree for extra flavor

How to Make It:

  1. Fill one of the pretty flower tumblers with ice.
  2. Pour in cold Sprite.
  3. Add citrus slices and stir.
  4. Top with a fun patterned straw.

Kid Tip: Let them pick their own cup and squeeze the fruit!

2. Rainbow Torani Fruit Punch

Ingredients (serves 4):

  • 2 cups cranberry juice or Real Black Cherry Puree + water
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • Splash of Torani Strawberry or Torani Raspberry syrup
  • Ice + fresh fruit slices

How to Make It:

  1. Fill glasses with ice.
  2. Slowly layer the juices + a little Torani syrup for sweetness and color.
  3. Garnish with fruit and a cute straw.

Kid Tip: They love creating the colorful layers!

3. Berry Lemonade Slush

Ingredients (serves 2):

  • 2 cups frozen berries
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 1–2 pumps Torani Strawberry or Real Raspberry Puree
  • 1 cup ice + ½ cup water
  • Optional: Liquid IV packet for extra hydration

How to Make It:

  1. Blend everything until slushy.
  2. Pour into a tumbler and add a straw.

Pro Tip: Stir in Liquid IV for a hydration boost after backyard play.

4. Peach Creamsicle Sparkler

Ingredients (serves 1):

  • 1 cup La Croix sparkling water (or Sprite)
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1–2 pumps Torani Peach syrup or Real Peach Puree
  • Peach slice for garnish

How to Make It:

  1. Put ice cream in a tall tumbler.
  2. Pour La Croix or Sprite slowly over the top.
  3. Add Torani Peach or Real Peach Puree for flavor.
  4. Garnish with a peach slice.

Kid Rating: Tastes like a creamsicle!

5. Watermelon Raspberry Cooler

Ingredients (serves 2):

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen watermelon
  • 1 cup lemonade or water
  • 1–2 pumps Torani Raspberry or Real Raspberry Puree
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • Ice
  • Optional: Liquid IV stick for hydration

How to Make It:

  1. Blend watermelon, lemonade, Torani/Real puree, and lime juice.
  2. Pour over ice in a cute tumbler.
  3. Add a straw and watermelon wedge.

Kid Tip: Super refreshing after playing with the water toys!

Extra Summer Drink Tips:

  • Set up a drink station with the Torani syrups, Real fruit purees, and cute tumblers so kids can customize their own drinks.
  • Liquid IV is my secret weapon — just mix one packet into water for a quick hydration boost (especially after being outside).
  • Use the La Croix for lighter, less sugary options.
  • The flower tumblers and colorful straws make everything feel more fun!

These drinks have been a huge hit at our house. The kids feel like little bartenders, and I love knowing they’re staying hydrated in this crazy Arizona heat.
